Masturbation helps release different hormones.
Dopamine, which is known as the happiness drug. This hormone is involved with motivation, movement and reward seeking.
Oxytocin, which is known as the love hormone. This hormone has behavioral and psychological effects. It promotes sexual, social, maternal behaviors of happiness, and supports well being, positive social integration, growth, and healing.
Serotonin- this hormone helps mediate happiness, optimism, and satisfaction.
Endorphins- are the feel good chemicals. They help to reduce pain levels. Also gives you the pleasurable rush.
Prolactin- this hormone promotes psychological responses. These responses are to reproduction, stress and emotions.
Adrenaline- this hormone helps lower stress
